Based in Montréal, Québec, we operate from our various growing and making locations in Côtes-Des-Neiges, Parc Jean Drapeau, Downtown and Senneville. At our farms we cultivate textile plants for our playdates, food for community fridges and perennial natives for pollinators.
1. Martin Luther King Park

In partnership with Maison des Jeunes and Chalet Kent we grow a mix of textile plants and vegetables in the heart of Cotes-des-Neiges. Vegetables are harvested for the Black Community Association fridge and our textile plants are activated during the 4 the Hood festival.

In partnership with the Black Community Association of Cote-Des-Neiges, we grow a mix of textile plants and vegetables in raised beds. Food is harvested for the community fridge at the Black Community Association.
3. Parc Jean Drapeau

Our garden space on Ile St Helene is easily accessible through the metro. Behind the Biodome, alongside Parc Jean Drapeau’s Espace Rosarie, we grow a mix of hardy native perennials like Beebalm and Mountain Mint as well as non-native textile plants such as Cosmos and Dyers Chamomile. Pending soil testing, the plants we cultivate here are not for human consumption, but rather to attract pollinators and for textile use.

Our farm plot in Senneville is shared with Les Jardins Carya and neighbours Sankofa Farming Cooperative. At our most rural Growing A.R.C. location we grow squash, melons, cucumber, zucchini, sorrel, tomatoes, marigolds, indigo, cotton, and flax.

5. a.R.C. Lab
The A.R.C. Lab is our dedicated fashion lab space where we perfect our natural dye recipes and create our educational materials. This space opens to the public for the A.R.C. Up Market, where we invite you to join us for a day of vintage pop-up sellers, local vendors, music and guided repairs.
